Braganza AS is defined as an investment company, and does not prepare consolidated financial statements, in accordance with Norwegian GAAP. The accounts of Braganza AS do not therefore provide a true picture of the group's combined activities. The value of listed investments held by Braganza AS is adjusted in line with stock market developments. The majority our investments, however, are not listed, and are carried at original cost in Braganza AS.
The number of full-time equivalent employees in the group in 2010 was approximately 1200. A pro forma estimate for the group's gross turnover in 2010 is around NOK 6,5 billion, with estimated profits of approximately NOK 100 million. Braganza AS had cash reserves of approximately NOK 400 million as at 31 December 2010..
